We are Pro-active

We think ahead and act accordingly. We innovate to find new and better ways to do things. We are leaders, not followers. Our customers can rely on CFS to be ahead of the situation, always.

After closing a deal of 8 meal component lines with a very large customer in South America, we were still being considered for the marination part. The competition here was cut-throat. The customer asked us to run a real production size test using their test protocol so they could compare our results with those of the competition. We consulted with our Technology Specialists who questioned the processing parameters proposed by our customer, but of course we had to do the test. Then we suggested doing a similar test with, what we believed to be, the best parameters for CFS marination equipment. And it turned out that we were able to translate our price premium into higher product quality and lower production costs. This resulted in an additional order for 8 tumblers and has opened doors to other tumblers in the future!

It goes without saying that we design our machines so that they comply with the highest standards of hygiene in the industry. But we also have to be one step ahead and work towards future improvements. The project team developing the new CFS PowerPakNT did just this and came up with several design enhancements. They managed to both reduce Cost of Ownership and improve operator friendliness for the customer during the lifecycle of the machine, while also setting new innovative standards for outsourcing, assembly and engineering that actually simplify our internal processes. It was a great experience to work with colleagues from several sites on this project and play my part in contributing to the future of CFS.
